Sierra Green Builders(Douglas Homes in the Midwest) has since its inception in 2000 rigorously sought to satisfy our client's wide array of construction needs. From crafting every detail on a custom home, to erecting luxury log homes, to the often needed remodeling jobs that transform a nondescript stairwell into a showpiece, Sierra Green Builders specializes in making your living space fit with your needs, both financially and aesthetically.
Bob Douglas-- owner, contractor, master builder-- has built over 25 logs homes (some custom, some kit), and has completed over 50 conventional home projects. He gleaned his experience working as the foreman for Real Log Homes, Inc., taking the process from assembling custom log packages to finishing interiors with tongue and groove ceilings, wood floors, trim, cabinetry, stairwells, and the laying of stonework on fireplaces and chimneys.
Bob enjoys the craftsman element of executing many skilled custom jobs, while also providing clients with the essentials of solid roofing, seamless cement work, and sturdy siding. From site preparation to the final hanging of curtain rods, Bob and his crew work with an exactitude, a driving work ethic, and a can-do attitude that has reassured many homeowners in the often worrisome arena of home building and renovation. We are proud at Sierra Green Builders that our outfit has routinely been noted by clients as upstanding, honest, and exceptionally hardworking (see references). We warranty our work, are fully licensed and insured in California, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and have never received customer complaint, litigation, or lien.
The mark of Sierra Green Builders is total integrity in business and in craft.
